Located close to Kainchi Dham: Neem Karoli Baba Ashram Kainchi Dham is located 18 km from The Great Escape. Kainchi is a beautiful secluded mountain ashram located in the Kumaon Hills in Uttarakand. Many hundreds of people visit the temples here every day, in season. Neem Karoli Baba is considered incarnation of Lord Hanuman by the devotees. Devotees claim to feel the divine presence of Lord Hanuman and Neem Karoli Baba at the ashram. The ashram gets its name corresponding to its location which makes a scissor-like (Kainchi in Hindi language) shape as the two hills, between which the ashram is located, cut and cross each other.
